These are by far the best-sounding
amplifiers we have ever heard and they are our new reference amplifiers.
We showed at the 2005 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest
with Red Rock Audio and used the Renaissance Amplifiers. We received
best sound of show from Positive Feedback. David Robinson,
editor-in-chief of Positive Feedback, awarded the amps a Brutus Award
and currently has a pair for review.
We have been testing the Renaissance Amplifiers in
our main system for over nine months. They easily bested every amplifier
we have put them up against. We have tested them on several speakers
from Kharma, Von Scheikerts VR9s and Coincident. The Kharmas are rated
at 87dB, yet the Renaissance gives great bass and will play at sound
levels that will run you out of the room without clipping...amazing!
The Renaissance is rated at 50 watts; triode with
no feedback, push pull. The amplifier uses one 6BL7, one 6BX7 and four
Svetlana 572-10 tubes. Input impedance = 100K r. Gain = 26dB. Speaker
connections 4 and 8 ohm taps. Size 26.75 h x 9.25 w x 17.5 d.
Owner selects color of wood front panel. Two year
warranty for basic amplifier for original owner.
Suggested retail price: $38,750.00 USD
